Medical Services:

Every resident within our independent living community is entitled to 20 days of room and board at Parklane West Healthcare center--conveniently located adjacent to our community--per year at no additional cost. The Towers high-rise, senior living condominiums are connected to Parklane West by a service corridor. Residents can reserve additional days for long-term or temporary care based on individual fees.

Parklane West provides elegant senior care through a variety of services including rehabilitation and experienced nursing care. Our licensed healthcare professionals can provide medical consultation and routine laboratory tests. Offered therapies include physical, speech, and occupational. Outpatient therapy can also be utilized by residents as well as services from our medical director, podiatrist, and dentist.

Parklane West Personalized Living provides in home non-medical care to assist our residents with daily tasks such as light housekeeping, accompanying residents to medical appointments, bathing assistance, dressing/grooming assistance and special personal services such as shopping, errands, reading, and writing notes. Personalized Living staff promote independence and enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Trained, professional home health staff provide an alternative to a more intensive care setting, fostering a sense of independence and self-respect. Patients receive services in the comfort of their homes in a clinically effective and cost-efficient manner. The services are designed to help meet personal needs on a short- or long-term basis.

Parklane West offers an individualized program of physical, emotional and practical care for hospice patients, with emphasis on pain control and symptom management. Our hospice program is a reflection of our spirit of caring and is designed to respect the dignity of an individual facing a terminal illness. A team of compassionate and dedicated individuals will be there to guide and support families when the time for hospice care arises.

Our Occupancy Agreement with Parklane West provides all of our active seniors with easily accessible medical treatment within the convenience of our senior community. The Towers believes that every resident should have the opportunity to participate in senior activities and enjoy their retirement to its fullest. We aim to keep our residents healthy by providing them with the best medical care possible.
